SourceMedia located in downtown Manhattan is a provider of market information, including news, analysis, and insight to the financial services and related industries such as accounting and technology, through its publications. Its flagship publications include American Banker, National Mortgage News, The Bond Buyer, and Accounting Today.
The individual will reviews and analyzes system specifications to determine whether all required elements have been included. The individual will be consulting with business users to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements. The individual will also be supporting and modifying existing programs to conform to system changes or to make improvements in the existing program. The individual will also advise and work with user departments to resolve specific problems or make changes in programs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with business users and team members to identify and understand application requirements
· Ability to complete tasks and produce appropriate deliverables within project time schedules
· Unit/System testing of developed solutions
· Documenting and maintaining source-to-target data mappings and program logic
· Maintain enterprise data integrity by creating integrity reports and mapping tools
Qualifications:
· College degree or equivalent work experience required
· 7 years of experience developing software applications
· Minimum of 5 yrs experience with .Net Programming especially ASP.Net 2.0 and above, C# and VB.Net.
· Experience with customization of MS CRM 3.0 required.
· Deployment experience with IIS 5 and above required.
· Experience with MS SharePoint 2003 and above required.
· Minimum of 5 years experience utilizing SQL Server 2000 or above: Database design, Queries, Stored Procedures, DTS, SSIS, and Analysis
· Experience with Apache 5.0 and above a plus
· Experience with MS GP 9.0 and PubSuite a plus
· Knowledge of Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and Sql Reporting Service a Plus.
· Excellent oral and written communications skills.
· Creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Actively investigate new tools and methods to support and improve the computing environment.
· Provide backup for team members where needed.
