Responsibilities:
Software Engineer needed at ISO to analyze, design & develop GIS and J2EE applications; work with clients & business partners to provide technical counsel and supply solutions that satisfy the client's business requirements. Serve as a technical lead on projects & provide training to supporting teams. Spearhead the development of Java batch applications and APIs for mainframe legacy systems on z/OS platform and port applications from z\OS to zLinux. The incumbent will also be responsible for the testing efforts. Most assignments are complex and difficult, normally independently planned and conducted.
Qualifications:
Requires 4 yrs experience in Information Systems; 2 yrs at senior level developing J2EE applications using JMS, Webservices, as well as CTG (CICS Transaction Gateway), 1 yr. developing GIS applications in Java using ArcGIS, Arc Catalog, and ESRI EJB framework;2 yrs with mainframe technologies, Websphere Application Server, and any two of the following testing tools: JTest, Omegamon, WSAD/RAD Profilers. US work authorization required.
