Sabre is currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer Circuit Designer to work in Eatontown, NJ.


 


Job Description:


Candidate will work in a challenging, hands-on environment supporting the Department of Defense and other specialized customers in the central New Jersey area.  The successful candidate will conduct research, design, development and evaluation for system on a chip and digital radio components for application to military next/future generation radio/wireless systems and radio appliances.   Duties include working with users and systems level engineers to translate requirements into functional and performance specifications and designs.   Position will also require interfacing directly with industry developers and fabricators and overseeing board-level integration and testing.


 


 


 


 
Requirements

Job requires experience in the following areas:



  • Digital Signal Processing

  • General Purpose Processors

  • Chip design and fabrication techniques

  • Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) designs

  • Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)

  • Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLD)

  • Chip Manufacturing and Foundry Techniques

  • Hardware description languages such as Verilog and VHDL

  • Board-level Integration and Test.


 


Knowledge in the following areas is also relevant:



  • Multi-layer 3D Chip packaging techniques and designs

  • Next Generation Cognitive Networking/Radio concepts

  • Next generation system on a chip radio concepts


 


Candidate must have a DOD Secret Clearance or higher, or be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
