Job Description:

The Systems Sales Trainee’s role is to accomplish two things:

1. Training ground in the sales organization so the associate can learn to sell. The training program will be put in place by the Regional Sales Director (RSD) to ensure success.
2. Assist the Account Manager, your “Mentor”, in the assigned territory with the various stages of the sales process to achieve the designated sales quota.


The Systems Sales Trainee’s responsibilities are to take day-to-day direction from the Mentor and RSD on sales activities that will drive revenue such as:

Participating in the planning and implementation of market strategies and programs
Teaming with the Mentor to achieve sales goals of a specific set of solutions through the sales cycle
Participation in solutions team business reviews
Working with the Mentor to evaluate leads and gather competitive intelligence
Participation in customer prospecting events and trade/product shows
Basic administrative duties as needed, including updates and maintenance of appropriate reporting/database systems


Training: 6 months-2 years of on-the-job training with a mentor and classroom training at our Reynolds University in Dayton, Ohio.


Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree
0-5 years of experience
Strong customer relationship skills
Persuasiveness and sale closing ability
Able to work as a team member and have a positive influence on others
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be willing to relocate up to 1500 miles of initial location upon completion of training period
