At the present time they are looking to fill a key role to help develop a new practice area as they extend their Unified Communications area to include Contact Center.
The Senior Sales Specialist placed in this national overlay sales role will be responsible for new business development supporting the direct sales force with a focus on contact center solutions. The Senior Sales Specialist / Product Overlay Specialist will provide support to the Account Managers in the areas of: lead generation, opportunity identification, definition and qualification, promotion, negotiation, and closing (upon delegation from Account Managers) on large, complex solutions.
Additionally, The Senior Sales Specialist / Product Overlay Specialist will be responsible for:
• Acting as the lead for the USA and Canadian region to oversee development of the practice. This will include supporting the hiring/mentoring of other contact center sales specialists, hiring/mentoring of presales engineers, hiring/mentoring of delivery engineers and project managers, development of a training curriculum, maintaining the community of interest.
• Creating business value by supporting development of both technical and commercial solutions that drive multi-year service contracts
• Supporting the accounts in the sale of the end-to-end portfolio of services to include: consulting, network services, integration services, other professional services and equipment. Activity can span multiple Business Units – IP Advanced Services, VPN, Integration Services, CRM, IT&S, Mobility, and PS.
• Solutions typically include: situational analysis assessment, business and infrastructure alignment plan, transformation / optimization program, solution architecture design, life-cycle management services, and on-going operational support and optimization

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
• At least 5+ years of solid business development experience with a deep knowledge of contact center solutions.
• Experience with multiple contact center solution vendors is ideal
• Knowledge of IP Contact Center desired
• Prior experience overseeing the development of a practice group to include hiring, mentorship and training of contact center sales specialists/ presales engineers and project managers
• Skilled at developing and identifying new opportunities through partner relationships
• A skilled negotiator
• Top notch communications, presentation, business development, closing and relationship building skills
Compensation includes a generous base salary, and uncapped commission structure, top benefits and the opportunity to grow and advance within an industry leading organization. First year earnings are expected to be in the $170K - $200K++ range, uncapped!
