Assurant Employee Benefits (AEB), one of the largest marketers of employee benefits in the United States, is looking to aggressively grow our national Dental PPO panel. We are seeking an experienced representative to recruit dentists in our New York territory (Brooklyn, Nassau, Suffolk, northeastern Pennsylvania and southern Connecticut). We want a motivated individual with excellent sales, interpersonal and communication skills and the willingness to work hard to meet goals. Our ideal candidate should possess at least 1 year insurance sales or field recruitment experience. The right candidate must be able to travel (75% of the time) and spend time in the field.
Success in this position will be defined by:
· Territory development
· Cold calling to generate leads
· Establishing and maintaining relationships
· Educating customers on the products
· Successfully recruiting dentists to the PPO Panel
· Following up on questions and issues
· Persisting available leads in territory
Responsibilities for this position include:
· Recruitment of dentists into the PPO network according to goals and priorities
· Maintenance of the PPO network as required
· Make follow-up phone calls to dental practices who have requested information
· Make visits to dental offices in territory through cold calls and appointments
· Negotiate fee schedules with dental practices
· Obtain application materials and credentialing documents
· Audit dental group practice lists to identify additions, terminations and changes
· Work with Manager of Network Development to identify appropriate recruitment strategies
· Act as a liaison between Dental Health Alliance and AEB sales offices
· Work with dental offices to resolve complaints, claims issues as needed
