Job Description:

Exact Job Duties to be Performed:	Importance: The Account Executive works within a defined geographic region that is subject to change. Within this region it is their responsibility to develop new referral partners and manage existing referrals from Comerica Banking Centers. Role (In Order of Importance): • Pro-actively manage referrals from 10-15 Comerica Banking Centers • Develop sales strategies to meet expected sales quotas • Make sure that new business is sold according to the profitability and underwriting guidelines established by the business • Be excellent at written and verbal and presentation skills • Demonstrate the ability to negotiate pricing that allows the Bank to maximizes profitability margins • Prospect and identify new referral partners, association relationships and industry niches (at least one “non-banking center” partner) • Take a lead role in networking and becoming established and well known in your territory • Leverage and maximize the results associated with the banking center referral channel; develop strategic programs, increase overall visibility and referral momentum • Keep current on competitive changes, challenges and opportunities • Demonstrate expense control and monitor and measure to reasonable expenses • Identify key target markets, industry niches and allocate appropriate resources and design strategies to capture market share • Develop strategic programs that will maximize referrals from the Banking centers and increase overall product visibility and referral momentum • Be an expert at analyzing competitor’s statements • Perform other duties as needed
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:	Bachelor's Degree or 5 years Merchant Card experience required 2 year’s experience selling Merchant Card Services required 2 year’s experience writing and presenting customized sales proposals required 2 year’s experience using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point required
