GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This highly visible position is responsible for analyzing day-to-day retail operations and providing innovative suggestions for enhancements of our company policies and operational procedures that ultimately lead to profit improvement and/or reduced expenses.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as liaison between our Corporate Service Center personnel and retail field personnel.
Creates a positive interaction with all levels of organization and retail clientele.
Creation of professional correspondence, emails, presentations, announcements and various documents using Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Writes and implements new policy and procedure.
Reviews and modifies existing policy and procedures. Maintains organizational policy and procedure manual.
Trains policy and procedure to retail store management and store associates.
Coordinates retail store inventory procedures and oversees bi and semi-annual inventory.
Coordinates various company training functions.
Travels to new and existing stores as needed.
Special projects as assigned.
POSITIION REQUIREMENTS:
College degree in business administration, business management/related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook).
Previous Retail Operations and Store Management experience preferred.
General knowledge and understanding of the day-to-day operations of a retail environment.
Stellar interpersonal skills, keen eye for detail and strong follow-up skills are vital.
Ability to travel to existing stores and or new store markets is required.
