Job Summary:

Audit sales from the various districts ensuring what is booked into the GL is accurate and verification of all Tenders to prevent and report any loss to the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure sales packages are received from the districts on time.


• Check packages for deposit slips, register tapes, credit card slips, void slips, perpetual reports, register reports and summary sales reports.


• Compare and reconcile the credit card settlement report figures (Paymentech) with the JDA credit card figures, and research and report any discrepancies.


• Verify deposit slips match summary sales reports from the districts, and make the necessary adjustments.


• Compare the Register Sales to our Sales in the JDA system.


• Audit and Correct any keying errors done at the store level.


• Complete each district by the dates set by Finance.


• Prepare Flag Reports, bank reports and summary sales reports for finance monthly.


• Ensure deposit logs are received from the districts.


• Required to call the districts or LP if there is a discrepancy with the sales or tenders.


• Report all polling problems to POS Department

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

• Must be computer literate with beginner to intermediate excel skills.


• Retail environment head cashier or back office experience preferred.

Education and Experience:

• Two year College Degree or High School education and equivalent experience.
