The Donna Karan Company / DKNY, a leader in the luxury retail industry, is seeking a Corporate Loss Prevention Supervisor to join its Security and Loss Prevention team.

This position will be Responsible for:

·         Developing and maintaining the strategy for the reduction of loss in our Corporate Facilities

·         Providing the Corporate Offices with a safe and secure working environment

·         Establishing and sustaining a high level of awareness to safety and security related matters 

·         Directing, coordinating and supervising the activities of all Corporate Security personnel to ensure the highest level of service is being provided

·         Partnering with local authorities to maintain effective communication regarding any security or safety concerns 

·         Ensuring that an active and updated safety program is in place all areas of the Corporate Facilities

Candidates must have the ability to identify and resolve internal theft issues, and to develop strong partnerships within each division/department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Develop a clear strategy for the proactive reduction of shrink and protection of Company assets

·         Establish and maintain effective partnerships with Corporate Associates, outside vendors, and local authorities

·         Manage Corporate Security staff to ensure that all programs are maintained and initiatives are effectively executed

·         Use discretion to make facilities and personnel decisions regarding the safety and security of company assets

·         Facilitate a proactive approach to the development of Corporate Security direct reports

·         Assist and provide services for Public Relations & Marketing for Corporate events

·         Effectively utilize all available tools (CCTV, DVR’s, Access Control System etc...) to ensure a safe and secure facility

·         Effectively manage schedules to ensure proper the proper staffing of security while maintaining payroll budget

·         Facilitate Corporate CPR/First Aid training and safety meeting program

·         Ensure that the Corporate Facility alarm system is fully functional and tested according to company standards

·         Ensure that all off hour alarms are responded to and that corrective action is taken as needed to resolve the cause of alarm

·         Assist DC facilities and surrounding stores as needed during inventory process

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred


• 3-5 years of  industry experience


• 2-3 years of management/supervisory experience


• Investigative and interview experience


• Knowledge of state laws and law enforcement/legal


• Experience in the effective utilization of Security related systems
