I am currently seeking a Sr. Manager of E-Marketing to add to this company's team.
TITLE: Sr. Manager, E-Marketing
SALARY: Up to $125,000 base, plus bonus and stock options
Responsible for the successful development and implementation of internet strategy and web design for the marketing dept. Develop product/market presence using current technology. Help develop, plan and implement internet strategy for current and new prescription drug products. Recommend and manage Marketing-based Web positioning, including direct to MD's; direct-to-consumer, and information out to target audiences (MD's, clinicians, thought leaders, etc).
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manages Brand Sites
Managing Web production for existing brand Web sites
Overseeing approval process (red folder)
Working with brand team to identify content additions and design modifications to existing Web sites
Working in collaboration with the brand teams to develop new brand sites in support of marketing objectives
Reviewing and analyzing site traffic (conducting regular trends reports)
Communicating project status to brand teams
2. Serves as Project Manager to Agencies for Web Development
Ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are on track
Weekly status reports are issued
Contribute to the internet section of brand marketing plans
Establish success metrics including ROI for all e-marketing initiatives
Establish processes and procedures to ensure best practices and quality of deliverables
Develop plans, analyses, and presentations that are presented to brand teams and/or senior management
Develop relationships and work in collaboration with the brand teams to develop e-marketing programs in support of marketing objectives
Drive integration and collaboration by working across the organization including product marketing, finance, legal, regulatory, medical, and IT
Manage relationships with agencies and related e-marketing vendors
Monitor, track and report on the performance of e-marketing initiatives
Maintain e-marketing budgets for all promoted brands
Keeping abreast of emerging internet trends and technologies
3. Manages Online Promotion
Advertising campaigns
Email campaigns and newsletters
Search engine optimization programs
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Degree in Marketing, or Finance (MBA preferred)
7 years brand management experience in a marketing role in the Pharmaceutical, Consumer, or Healthcare industry including direct to consumer
Familiarity with retail trade and contract operations a plus.
Significant website design and development strategy as well as excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
Experience: 7 years in E-Marketing, Pharmaceutical Sales and/or Marketing
Excellent project management skills
Excellent communications skills
Strong writing and editing skills
Self-starter, takes initiative, able to work with minimal direction
Detail oriented
Proficient using the computer and basic office applications such as MS Word and Excel
