Job Summary:
Lead associate responsible for supporting corporate strategic initiatives and product development /management processes.
Main Responsibilities:
Ø Lead associate engaged in strategic initiatives, including the on-going refinement of corporate strategic plan, and responsible for proactive assessment of product and service needs as well as driving initiatives towards completion.
Ø Lead associate on EdisonLearning Product Management and New Product Development teams engaged in all product management/development processes (including Educational design discussions, market analysis, business models, pricing strategy and profitability analysis).
· Partner with Product Managers to drive all internal decision-making regarding Product Development and pricing strategies.
· Responsible for creating and maintaining business models/P&Ls for product management team, including full-scale product models as well as streamlined model versions for Developer use.
· Perform pricing sensitivity and other analyses to determine impact product profitability.
· Partner with Research & Insight to support department by providing competitive analyses.
· Support New Product Development processes by monitoring project milestones; documentation; meetings, executive briefings, etc.
· Create and maintain product templates such as feature benefits summaries that support product definition and positioning.
· Partner with Product Managers to educate and train cross-functional team members and Developers on EdisonLearning product specifications and financials.
Ø Manage Marketing Department’s budgets by facilitating annual budgeting process, providing periodic spending estimates and updating actual costs.
Ø Partner with Business Development and Planning Analyst to support Business Development deal vetting and approval processes.
Key Relationships:
Internal: Able to develop strong cross functional relationships and credibility within EdisonLearning across all functional departments. These internal relationships include members from Education, Regions, Finance, General Counsel and Technology, Product Management, Education, Regions, Finance, Research & Insight, Developers, Sales Heads
External: May interact with EdisonLearning customers for information gathering as needed.

Background:
Ø Minimum of three years’ experience as a business, marketing or financial analyst
Ø Expertise in MSOffice (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Ø Knowledge of advanced modeling and financial analysis techniques
Ø Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or other quantitative major
