Job Purpose:
The Manager, Products and Services Pricing has responsibility over the development and implementation of pricing strategy for key products, service, and emerging business segments of Hertz; as well as the coordination of marketing, operational, legal, and financial support with respective business partners.
Key-results areas:
· Develop, communicate, and recommend/implement pricing, marketing and promotional strategies and tactics for Hertz Connect, new products, and optional services; including product, channel, and geographic market development.
· Distribute regular reports, which provide insight into segmentation and contribution issues to all levels of management.
· Monitor, collect, evaluate, and distribute competitive pricing/yield information for products and channels in specific geographic markets.
· Generate, evaluate, and distribute reservation, transaction, RPD, and contribution information for products and channels for specific geographic markets.
· Develop, review, and approve promotional offers in coordination with the marketing department for specific geographic markets.
· Develop knowledge of marketing, pricing, and operational concepts specific to the RAC, car sharing, and other mobility-related industries.
· Develop working knowledge of internal/external system requirements to effectively execute strategies/tactics in the online marketplace.
· Develop a strong working relationship with corporate and field personnel.

Mandatory Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor Degree in a business related discipline required
Professional Experience:
· Prior experience in a pricing or quantitative marketing environment
· Prior experience in the Rent-A-Car or travel industry preferred
· 5-plus years of work experience
Knowledge:
· Solid understanding of economic concepts and pricing/yield management principles
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
· Understanding of Internet technology
Skills:
· Solid analytical skills
· Strong communication, problem solving, and project management skills
- Project Management and/or Six Sigma certification(s) preferred
· Excellent written and presentation communications
· Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
