Datran Media is a leading digital marketing technology company that helps advertisers, publishers and agencies manage their branding, acquisition, retention and monetization campaigns across multiple channels. We are currently seeking a Publisher Manager / Affiliate Manager to help build and maintain NetMargin; Datran’s Affiliate Network. Qualified individuals will have 3+ years of hands on internet media and marketing experience. An emphasis on Affiliate, Email and/or Search Marketing is desired.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following:
· Daily Affiliate Management: Creative & Offer Recommendations, Payout Changes, Dispute Resolution, etc.
· Analyze Affiliate activity on a daily basis and identify opportunities for improvement
· Manage several client accounts simultaneously while continuing to grow a pipeline of new business opportunities.
· Recruit new Affiliates into the Network (Search, Email, Contextual and Display
· Manage and retain Publisher new and existing relationships
· Analyze Affiliate activity on a daily basis and identify opportunities for improvement
· Responsible for on-boarding new publisher/affiliate clients on Datran Media’s platform
· Fully capable of developing and presenting media capabilities (e.g., planning, optimization, search, e-mail)
· Strategize with account team and/or client on best use of media and help determine budgets
· Strategize, plan, execute and optimize online, search, e-mail, and performance-based display campaigns
· Meet on a regular basis with vendors to increase knowledge of markets and ensure our clients are on the cutting edge
Qualification/Requirements:
· College Degree in Advertising, Marketing or Communications
· 3 + years prior experience in media or media sales
· Expertise in many forms of internet media and marketing, with knowledge of email marketing
· Must have established contacts with publishers and media networks
· Must possess knowledge of creative development process
· Must know the process of prospecting, negotiating, and closing Tier 1 media deals
· Must possess an understanding of media metrics, campaign tracking and optimization
· Proactive work ethic, ability to work in a fast paced, competitive, and collaborative environment
· Detail oriented, team player
· Excellent communication and writing skills
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and Internet search engine protocol
Optional Requirements:
· Strong understanding of current digital research companies, Web metrics, ad servers and other analytical tools, for example: NielsenNet Ratings, Buzz Metrics, @Plan, AdRelevance, ComScore, Quantcast, Compete, Atlas campaign management software, Google Analytics
