The Research Director will be responsible for managing syndicated and custom research projects based on Nielsen IAG's advertising effectiveness data for TV and other media. The position requires strong analytic thinking and the ability to produce client-ready research deliverables with actionable insights



 





Qualifications


 
Required

Bachelor's degree; Masters Degree a plus

6+ years experience in Market or Media Research (quantitative)

Very strong data tabulation and analytic skills

Experience with survey design and managing research projects from start to finish a must

Knowledge of advertising research a plus, particularly TV

Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of SPSS/SAS a plus

Telecommunications marketing/advertising experience a plus

 

Desired

Strong report-writing skills (analysis and recommendations)

Some management experience

Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills

Close attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent project management skills
