The Consulting Sector Marketing Leader (CSML) will align with the Consulting Sector Leader of one priority sector, using a service level agreement to define services and performance expectations and a scorecard to measure results.
At a very high level, each CSML is responsible for:

working with the Consulting Sector Leader and select strategic leaders to achieve sector goals and attain market leadership positioning for Consulting
*
leading and executing the marketing strategy to position key service offerings by developing supporting marketing campaigns, targeting priority accounts, etc.
*
building eminence for the sector through Consulting Sector Leader and/or key stakeholders
*
teaming with account marketers on select strategic sector Consulting accounts to attain leadership and eminence positioning, profitable revenue growth, C-suite account penetration, alignment with mission-critical business issues, customization of thought leadership, and achievement of client excellence/satisfaction measures
*
improving win rate by supporting pursuit/new business development activities for strategic and/or significant "must win" transactional opportunities
*
Additionally, the Banking CSML will serve as the Lead Client Marketer (LCM) on two priority accounts within the sector. In this role, the CSML will align with the account leadership, using the LCM service level agreement and scorecard to define services and measure results. Further, the CSML will work closely with key account stakeholders on both accounts to support new business development activities and relationship objectives across Deloitte's four lines of business.
As a sector marketing expert, the CSML should possess deep knowledge of priorities, trends, and opportunities in the banking arena, as well as keen understanding of Deloitte's capabilities and services. Using this knowledge and working with marketing and sales professionals, the CSML will provide a range of services and lead fellow marketers in developing client-centric marketing campaigns and programs to achieve Consulting's goals. With a focus on select strategic accounts and transactional opportunities, the CSML will ensure that learnings and best practices are shared with other sector accounts.
The CSML will be a member of the National Consulting Marketing Team, and will also work closely and team with other marketers across Deloitte's broader marketing organization, including industries, sectors and regions, as well as the National Account Marketing initiative.

Senior Manager or strong Manager

Account marketing experience highly desired; industry/sector marketing experience

Ability to work directly with practice leadership and marketing management in developing strategies, plans, presentations, etc.

Experience working with teams in professional services or matrixed environments, including ability to spearhead highly collaborative efforts
