Job Description:

The senior director of online marketing is responsible for developing revenue and client driven marketing strategies, merchandising programs and investment decisions to achieve revenue goals, primarily through the company's ecommerce and customer facing web environment.  This position sets marketing priorities and recommends the appropriate digital marketing mix to drive desired client behavior and conversion within the company's websites and portfolio of products.  The successful candidate will collaborate with User Experience, Technology, Web Marketing, Product Development and Segment/Regional Marketing teams to positively impact portfolio revenue and clients.  Requires a minimum of 10 years progressive experience in multi disciplined marketing management, with 5+ years demonstrated success in a digital/online marketing environment.


Your Next Challenge:



  • Define marketing strategies for the long tail of customers who prefer to transact online.

  • Design and implement behavioral driven promotional and engagement activities in an online environment.

  • Collaborate with relevant functions to simplify site workflows and create merchandising programs to shift sales conversion from offline to online.

  • Drive both program definition and implementation to achieve corporate goals for revenues and customer impact. 

  • Set product marketing mix priorities to drive customer awareness and conversion in the portfolios.  Work to maximize market impact through digital marketing techniques. 

  • Work with UX, Technology, Product Development and other marketing functions to reach consensus on strategies and tactics to achieve online revenue goals across website properties.

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive, coordinated marketing plan for the portfolio.

  • Communicate information on marketing programs, customer profiles and key success factors to relevant internal stakeholders, including the company's executive committee.

  • Work with business intelligence to drive market research as well as pricing and competitive analyses.  Collaborate with product development teams on new product ideas/enhancements and ensure new products and programs are meeting the needs of the customer in an online ecommerce environment.

  • Drive a culture of constant understanding and monitoring of client development and portfolio success.


What You'll Need:



  • Significant commercial marketing experience, with an emphasis on client and revenue driven marketing management in an online environment across multiple websites.

  • Experience developing and implementing aggressive, customer-focused programs, repeat customer programs and initial product launch plans. 

  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals. 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of product marketing, portfolio management and partnering with appropriate internal and external functions to drive an ROI-based approach to performance.

  • Collaborative approach to problem solving and the ability to work with a highly skilled, cross-functional team.
