Deloitte Services LP is currently searching for a Marketing Manager that will work with other senior marketing professionals in support of Deloitte LLP's business objectives and marketing initiatives.
This position is responsible for providing marketing and account support for Deloitte's Northeast Financial Services Banking & Securities Sector. Reporting to the Northeast Financial Services Banking & Securities marketing lead, the position is responsible for driving strategic account planning/development, supporting/executing regional marketing programs and supporting/executing internal programs in concert with regional leadership. The ideal candidate will be a business-to-business marketing professional with experience in professional services who is organized and flexible with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in a matrix organization .
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop strong working knowledge of the Financial Services/Banking and Securities sector that will be helpful in providing insights to sector trends and client issues.
* Provide strategic guidance and marketing support to the Client Service Partners and their teams. Support, a minimum between two and four of the region's strategic target client teams in the full range of activities to build/strengthen relationships and increase penetration. Marketing support will include, but is not limited to, identifying service solution opportunities as they align with client needs, creating customized meeting documents that will be helpful in leading client meetings, liaising with design and proposal writing colleagues and the use of strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Provide pursuit support for strategic new business opportunities
* Gather/provide client and market intelligence for strategic accounts and affinity groups (comprised of several client teams from similar industry sector)
* Interface with regional, national, industry and functional marketing peers, as well as other extended marketing resources to coordinate and optimize client-facing support activities and programs.
* Develop and execute eminence and lead generation programs including sponsorships, e-mail campaigns, and Deloitte-hosted/third-party industry events. The latter will include managing and implementing major promotional events such as roundtables, internal conferences and industry speaking events. Execute marketing tactics and activities according to plan and within budget parameters across the Northeast geography (Philadelphia, NY/NJ/CT, New England)
* In conjunction with senior marketing management, survey decision makers on effectiveness and quality of past marketing efforts and solicit feedback for future actions. Utilize the acquired feedback to develop recommendations and provide input in the budgeting and planning process.
* Create awareness, internally and externally, of current and new service offerings
* Drive to actively seek opportunities to push toward a higher level of performance and effectiveness vs. being satisfied with a maintenance mode of operation.
* 7 to 10+ years marketing experience - prior B2B, Professional Service Firm and Banking and Securities sector experience a plus
* Demonstrated ability to work directly with practice leadership and marketing management in developing strategies, plans, presentations, etc.
* Experience working with teams in professional services, matrixed environments
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications - MBA a plus
* Strong project and process management skills
* Excellent communication (both written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Advanced PowerPoint presentation design, Word and Excel skills
