This position has overall responsibility for development, alignment and communication of all marketing activities for North America and Latin America including brand and value proposition :
- To refine and implement the Business Travel value propositions across segments, as well as having accountability for delivering the customer offers to the client management/sales force
- To develop strategies for client acquisition, extension and retention that drive business performance and support the customer value propositions within the business segments, including how the propositions are subsequently deployed to the client management and sales force
- To contribute to the achievement of scorecard outcomes from the business travel segment market share, financial plan, customer satisfaction and employee engagement.


Reporting and Working Relationships

- Vice President Product & Marketing (Direct report, leadership, direction and support)
- Client General Management & Advisory Senior Leadership team (alignment of marketing strategies and activities across all business travel segments)
-Product Management, Innovation teams & Marketing Intelligence teams (development of consumer insights, competitive and market critical information; development of annual marketing plans & segment plans)
- Brand Communications (alignment of all marketing materials to reflect strategy, brand identity and messaging)
- Team members (Product, direction leadership and support)

Responsibilities

This position provides a unique opportunity to drive business results and develop strategy as a key member of the Business Travel North American Marketing team. Responsible for a team of five direct reports, located in four countries. The Director will lead all marketing efforts for Business Travel in North America and Latin America, with responsibility for increasing client revenue and loyalty via the pricing, packaging, positioning, messaging and distribution of the Business Travel offering. The Director will manage all phases of the client lifecycle and be responsible for supporting growing the client base and increasing client revenue. This individual will specifically focus on:

*Lead the development and awareness of customer insights and market appropriate to the business segment
*Review, implement and manage customer value propositions by segment and their translation into respective offers
*Educate and enable the sales force to implement the customer value propositions and offers to achieve acquisition and retention goals, through developing tools, collateral and communications
*Develop pricing strategies around specific elements of the Business Travel offering
*Lead a high performing marketing team who understand Business Travel strategic vision and direction, have clear objectives and accountabilities which support this position.

To ensure segment growth, he/she will continue to maintain and improve client benefits and services by collaborating with various internal and external groups/vendors including Sales, Client Management, Finance and Operations. Need to build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and market leaders. Ability to work and contribute in a team approach is required.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Business or related area, preferred. Master's degree is a plus.
10+ years of Marketing experience, required.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Proven ability to successfully lead, manage, and motivate diverse skills towards common objectives.
Extensive knowledge of marketing disciplines.
Thorough understanding of the marketing management financial aspects.
Evidence of successful relationships and interaction with senior level management.
