Responsibilities:


  • To drive new products (internal R&D and external licensing) through early stages of marketing to result in optimized product launches and long-term business growth

  • Primary responsibility for developing and implementing commercial strategies for early pipeline projects.

  • Contribute to shaping the overall clinical and development strategy by integrating market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and input from external experts.

  • Assessment of business development and licensing opportunities including due diligence visits, sales forecasts,

  • Participate in specific projects for Proprietary Marketing




Qualifications:

 


 



  • BA/BS degree in Science or Business (MS in Marketing or MBA desirable)

  • A well rounded professional with 7+ years experience in branded Rx Marketing.

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience

  • Excellent understanding of the Women’s Health market.

  • Strong science and business/marketing background

  • Significant experience launching new products

  • Strong strategic marketing and new product planning skills

  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills

  • Thorough understanding of drug development

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with the role of qualitative and quantitative market research

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work on cross-functional development teams across development phases of discovery through launch

  • Experience directing external agencies, vendors and consultants in support of marketing plans

  • Strong interpersonal, team building and communication skills

  • Creative, analytical, technically sophisticated, and marketing-savvy

  • Computer literacy: to include strong competency in all WORD, POWERPOINT and EXCEL programs

  • Superior oral, written and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort communicating to all levels of management as well as external parties.

  • Proven ability to create comprehensive marketing plans.

  • Capable of making the complex clear and compelling.

  • Proficiency in communicating and delivering recommendations with appropriate rationale for recommendations.

  • Position requires strong organizational skills and ability to work cross functionally and cross culturally.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan and monitor multiple short –and-long term projects, while meeting all deadlines

  • Develop and report on appropriate metrics to measure success of key efforts and make recommendations on changes to plans based upon data

  • Results oriented, high initiative with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

  • Demonstrated success developing market ready products, and product ready markets
