Ask.com is seeking a consumer activation master to join our nimble marketing team as Event and Field Marketing Manager with the challenge to bring the Ask.com brand alive and deliver meaningful user engagement in real world direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives in the sports, cause-related, mass-entertainment, collegiate and music events field, as well as street and guerrilla marketing activities. The ideal candidate is a true multi-tasker and brings a creative, energetic and infectious personality as well as proven successes and results in planning, organizing and executing consumer brand activation in the national sports and events scene.
 
Key responsibilities:
-        Concept the strategy and execution plan for innovative, unique and differentiated activation programs, including pitch to senior management
-        Identify key prospects and opportunities in the national events scene to launch the Ask.com brand to new audiences, increase awareness and interest in core audiences, as well as to launch/showcase new Ask.com products in the field
-        Create and source branded and partner co-branded marketing collateral refined specifically to each audience and to deliver maximum impact
-        Build, deploy and manage a network of contracted brand ambassadors and event staff for key activation markets
-        Manage external vendors and agencies around specific marketing projects
-        Collaborate with Product team to design and build custom landing and product experiences on Ask.com for specific key audiences and programs
-        Measure, project and report key performance indicators for awareness, impact/adoption, effectiveness, efficiency and key business metrics
 
We expect a highly motivated results-driven individual with a self-starter mentality and a keen eye for detail and perfection. The ideal candidate is always ahead of the curve in the national sports and events scene and truly thinks out of the box when creating marketing/activation programs for Ask.com. For this expert at branding and innovation, success is challenging conventions and breaking limits.  Great communications skills and the ability to inspire others are critical, as is a flexible private schedule allowing for extensive travel when required.
