Technical Recruiter Needed in the NYC Metro Area!
Exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated Technical Recruiter in the NYC metro area. This individual will source IT candidates for top jobs with some of the largest and most prestigious financial services companies in the world. These are difficult to fill positions, requiring "best of the best" Developers, Architects, Project Managers and Technical Leaders with in-depth functional knowledge of investment banking and financial systems. To succeed in this role, you will need to be resourceful, innovative and relentless in identifying and qualifying potential candidates. You will also need to have previous experience recruiting IT candidates for banking, investment and/or financial institutions in the NYC and upstate NJ markets. Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting and a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas
- Verifiable experience placing candidates in technical positions within the banking, investments and/or financial industries
- Technical knowledge of Information Systems terminology
- Proven success with direct and indirect sourcing technologies (cold calling, career sites, social networking, etc.)
- Must be self-motivated, be a team player, and a have a high ethical standard
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred
