Job Description
The Human Resources Compliance Manager provides direct oversight of the staff and processes held in the HR Compliance function.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
? Maintenance and design/enhancement of all HR database governance, integration, and quality assurance policies, procedures and processes
? Direct supervision of HR Compliance staff, including oversight of day-to-day operations work flow, ensuring achievement of relevant departmental strategic initiatives and productivity goals
? Identification and development of process improvements for all other areas of functional responsibility (including, but not limited to, personnel file recordkeeping; salary administration; paid time-off calculations and reconciliations; HR system-to-payroll procedures; fingerprinting and background check procedures; HR database job position postings).
? Ensure agency-wide adherence to statutory and other reporting requirements related to personnel management
? Compilation and analysis of standardized and ad hoc management information system reports related to functional responsibilities.
? Assists with a broad array of line responsibilities and operational tasks related to HR compliance issues, as needed.
Additional Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s Degree required.
? Intermediate to advance knowledge in database and management information systems (MIS) and generation of relevant MIS reports required.
? Five or more years experience in operations and/or project management required.
? Prior human resources and/or supervisory experience
? Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills required.
? Superior ability in managing the processing of large volumes of data in a timely and accurate manner expected.
? Proven track record in working effectively on both small and large collaborative group projects expected.
