This person will be resposnsible for ensuring that payroll and benefits are accurately processed. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for overseeing benefits administration and payroll and benefits compliance. This position will also be a customer service representative for internal (employee) and external (auditors, vendors, etc.) customers. He/she will ensure that payments are processed accurately and promptly and provide reports as requested. This position will have a high degree of interaction with other departments as control points, specifically finance.
DUTIES:
Process Biweekly/Weekly Payroll including garnishments, other witholdings
Track employee attendance and maintain PTO bank
Perform Biweekly payroll reconciliation
Prepare required payroll quarterly and monthly reports
Administor employee benefits (med, life, 403b) activity, interface with vendors, staff
Make on-time Pension contributions and Pension loan payments
Process department invoices
Respond to employee inquiries on all payroll and benefits
Work with finance department to ensure accuracy, timeliness and effectiveness of systems and ops
Maintain payroll change registers, biweekly reports and employee payroll files
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
ADP PC Payroll, ADP Ezlabor manager (or other T & A System)
HRIS experience required
3-5 years ADP payroll experience using an automated time and attendance system.
Accounting and General Ledger experience strongly preffered.
2-4 years experiencing administering benefits
Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws for organizations of 300-500
Ability to multi-task and be organized, detailed-oriented, accurate and timely in work processes. Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
