The Princeton office is seeking a PE, Civil Engineer with a minimum of 8yrs experience with an interest in analysis and design of highways and related utilities and water resource projects.  This position will function as part of the Civil Design Service Line to perform analyses and design in support of projects for local and regional clients, DOTs, and other PB offices.  The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

 

    * Performing roadway drainage design
    * Performing engineering design calculations for water resources and flood hazard related projects
    * Performing engineering design for sanitary sewer and water mains
    * Performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using various software and manual techniques
    * Problem solving requiring job knowledge and engineering skills
    * Computing quantities of items to create construction cost estimates
    * Applying professional judgment to complete tasks of high complexity
    * Coordinating with internal and external clients

Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will work under close supervision of experienced engineers while performing assignments that require the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures.

Requirements:      BS in Civil Engineering with PE Registration.

Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InRoads, Haestad Methods and ArcGIS and experience working with utility companies are pluses. The successful candidate must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
