 Job Description
   

Reports to the Registrar for Graduate Schools and Summer/Winter Sessions. Prioritizes work; supervises work completion; and trains, leads, and coaches the clerical employees who enter data, transcribe from one database to another, disseminate information, and provide customer service to students, departments, and the public. Distributes or responds to customers' questions sent from multiple websites, coordinates and resolves registration and student record problems, assists faculty with use of online grade and roster systems, processes graduation data, and proofs diplomas. Participates in the development of procedures to meet unusual registration/payment needs. Prepares the online calendar and timeline for the completion of registration functions, updates the department's website, processes personnel actions, prepares cost projections for the registrar, and represents the department at meetings as needed.

 Job Requirements
   

Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of student records processing and maintenance, office administration, organization, coordination, facilitation, bookkeeping and/or report writing. Requires the ability to complete work under time pressures and handle stress with a positive demeanor; effective supervisory, leadership, and coaching skills; good customer service, collaborative, interpersonal, and communication skills; and computer literacy to include database and web-based applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and Sea Monkey or similar website management software.
