Education: Bachelors degree in business or related field required. MBA in Finance, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Experience:
· Minimum 10-12 years of management consulting and project management experience working with sophisticated financial services organizations in business transformation setting.
· Must have business transformation experience as a primary area of focus, including: merger integration, organizational restructuring, and divestiture.
· Interest in and past success in business development, particularly in follow-on sales opportunity identification and proposal development.
· Strong intellectual and analytic ability, comfortable with all phases of the consulting life-cycle, including planning, leading, executing, and monitoring.
· Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of an organization from technical to executive management.
· Demonstrated leadership ability and success at team building through the sale, delivery and relationship management process.
· Ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal supervision.
· Ability to achieve results and follow tasks through to completion.
· Imagination and creativity, seasoned professional judgment and maturity.
Responsibilities:
· Use of business consulting skills to lead and support the expansion and growth of the Advisory Group.
· Engage and work with investment and corporate banking clients, wealth managers and insurance companies to determine business strategies.
· Provide specialized leadership, insight and best practices in business process improvement and management, leading to the promotion of strategies to help clients improve their operations, tighten their controls and eradicate inefficiencies.
· Engage and work with clients in the financial services industry through all stages of business transformation projects.
· Identify issues and problems and define high value-added approaches to achieving operating success.
· Build trusted business advisor relationships and propose short-term and long-term implementation strategies involving the continued assistance of Rothstein Kass; ability to cross sell business.
· Medium to light travel (10 to 40%).
