Position Description (duties and responsibilities):

This candidate will be the Project Manager of several projects supporting various DoD organizations. The candidate will be a contributing member to the Fort Monmouth, NJ PMO team. The candidate will participate in all phases of the project life cycle. This includes analysis, design, functional and technical specifications, testing and project management. The candidate will also be required to work closely with our business partners and Government Task Leaders for requirement gathering and provide effective technical solutions. The candidate will be required to work closely with capture and proposal teams to develop winning proposals. Individual will be required to manage, plan, schedule, communicate, facilitate, monitor, control and report on project-related tasks, and track the status of identified issues and risks. The candidate must have experience with project finance management and budget planning.

Qualifications:
·         Minimum 2 years Project Management
·         Functional knowledge of Corporate Accounting/Payroll, HR or internal billing systems
·         Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills is a must.
·         Must have experience with interaction with customers to gather requirements and make presentations, briefings and proposals.
·         Experience reading complex engineering drawings
·         Applicant must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Project
·         Applicant must be willing to travel to hazardous duty locations
·         Project Experience: Functional and Technical design skills using object-oriented methodology
·         Experience managing technical projects including the implementation and Operation and Maintenance of Satellite Communications systems and DoD Networks.
·         AA/AS or higher degree from an accredited college or university
·         Applicant must be a US citizen
·         Must also possess at a minimum an active SECRET clearance or higher, meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and will be subject to a government security investigation
·         Employment will be contingent upon favorable results of a company background investigation and drug screening

·         Project Management Professional Certification

·         BA/BS or higher degree from an accredited college or university
