We operate on a 9/80 work schedule, all employees work 80 hrs in 9 days and have every other Friday off. Relocation Benefits will not apply to this position.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Product Line Director Flight Systems, the Deputy Program Manager will coordinate responses to internal and external customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepare action items requests
· Generate job plans
· Monitor weekly priorities to ensure commitments are met
· Serve as secondary point of contact to the flight data recorder product line program managers
· Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations
· Works directly with the contracting officer and client to coordinate contract activities and schedules, negotiate contract tasks, and solve problems that arise during contract and task execution.
· Maintains all necessary documentation related to assigned tasks and projects. Participates in special projects as required.
Basic Qualifications
· BSEE or equivalent
· 3 to 5 years experience at PM position on military programs (military/D0D experience) a plus
· Experience in liaison with customers and support of their requirements
· Subcontract management
· Competent with Microsoft Project, Word and Excel.
· US citizenship is required. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must be eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
