JobTitle :    Manager, Computer Operations
    Primary Skills :    * Manage and coordinate projects and activities of consultants working in projects. Plan and develop policies and procedures for carrying out computer operations. Meet with subordinate supervisors to discuss progress of work, resolve problems, and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met. Adjust hours of work, priorities, and staff assignments to ensure efficient operation, based on workload. Consult with software and hardware vendors and other establishment workers to solve impending problems for computer processing. Meet with other users to determine quality of service and identify needs. Meet with data processing managers to determine impact of proposed changes in hardware or software on computer operations and service to users. Evaluate new software and hardware to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing software and hardware. Evaluate proposed data processing projects to assess adequacy of existing hardware, and recommend purchase of equipment. Develop budget and monitors expenditure.
