POSITION:	Healthcare Data Analyst

LOCATION:	55 Water St.
HOURS:	9am to 5pm Mon - Fri

Description of Duties	Posting closing date: 07/14/2009 Essential Duties: Provides analytical expertise for all cost containment and provider network development initiatives Develops standardized reports to enable performance monitoring in the areas of provider contracting, network design, and utilization Manages ongoing Customer relationships to ensure that their needs are being met Identifies new opportunities to proactively provide Customers with information that will promote network management and cost effectiveness
Requirements	Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Health Care Management or related field. Master’s Degree a plus but not required Three to five years experience preferably in a health care environment Advanced experience with Information Management/Analysis within a Healthcare environment, preferably within the payer provider contracting or utilization management area Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Superior working knowledge of MS Office applications Sound understanding of relational database tools such as Cognos Impromptu, SAS, MedStat, etc. Solid analytical and logical skills paired with strong attention to detail Strong decision making ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills
