Business Continuity Coordinator
The Business Continuity Coordinator is responsible for working with senior management on business continuity planning, project management, disaster recovery planning, risk analysis and problem resolution.
Job Responsibilities include:
Recommending recovery strategies and options and assisting with the implementation of recovery solutions; maintaining portfolios of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery projects; working with business managers to assess potential business impact, define critical functions and develop business continuity plans to adequately address disruptions; developing processes and schedules to maintain and update plans, coordinating testing, drills and independent review and validation; developing schedules for training; effectively facilitating meetings, documenting and tracking tasks and issues to completion; coordinating disaster recovery meetings and large scale business continuity team events; participating in vendor contract negotiations; providing expertise and support to management when a business interruption occurs; and performing other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 5 years Business Continuity experience or proven project management experience. Project Management, Business Continuity and Crisis Communication certifications are a plus. Must have strong analytical and decision making skills, be highly organized and capable of coordinating work flow to meet strict deadlines. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and have an ability to multi-task and interact with all levels of management and staff. Experience with the Strohl LDRPS, Send Word Now, or Wallace Wireless is a plus. Must be available to work overtime and travel as needed.
