Information Technology Services (ITS) is the internal IT arm of KPMG. It provides integrated IT services to the firm, but does not provide direct service to clients. It encompasses global, national and practice-based components working together to meet or exceed client, business and regulatory requirements and deliver priority projects to KPMG member firms worldwide. Resources across ITS are combined to seamlessly provide services effectively and efficiently to KPMG’s competitive advantage. Responsibilities:

• Manage, motivate and lead business analysts and virtual team members to capture business needs quickly and effectively
• Manage multiple concurrent work streams of business analysis and leverage best-suited methodologies and practices
• Hire, coach, and evaluate the performance for the business analyst team
• Lead improvements to the business analysis process and procedures
• Champion, communicate, and take personal ownership of the team’s success criteria, and establishes measures, metrics, thresholds, and targets to drive performance in alignment with the team’s business plan, and with IT and business strategies
• Prepares the operating and capital budgets for the Business Analyst team
• Actively participate with the ITS US leadership team and help formulate the direction of the group and influence the portfolio of technology initiatives
• Work with the business to gain an understanding of current processes and supporting technologies
• Drive the creation of business and technology requirements for IT related requests for input to the business portfolio, solution center and technology projects
• Create business cases and documentation for IT related requests to enable the business relationship directors and business leaders to prioritize and position requests appropriately
• Support the communication of the requirements for the resources defining solutions in the solutions center and thereafter within the project lifecycle
• Participate in the delivery of technology across the full product lifecycle
• Reconciliation of business requirements and technology, architecture, risk management, standards and Firm strategic initiatives
• Help ensure business requirements and defined deliverables are aligned with long and short term business objectives
• Maintain an understanding of KPMG technical capabilities, IT architecture strategy, and business support initiatives
• Maintain an understanding of the ITS policies and procedures for accepting, validating, approving, resourcing, and managing IT projects
• Obtain knowledge of technology offerings in the marketplace
• Leverage knowledge of the businesses, technology marketplace, KPMG capabilities to provide creative solutions for the KPMG businesses
• Help to ensure the business analysts role, processes, and procedures are known and understood by other departments

Qualifications;

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s from an accredited college/university
• Experience driving business and technical requirements initiatives and processes involving geographically disperse teams in multiple organizations
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a successful track record in building cross functional, virtual teams who are focused on business analysis
• Established track record of defining and documenting technology initiatives in a cost-effective manner
• Ability to successfully lead teams in time sensitive initiatives
• Ability to partner with cross-functional groups to accomplish defined business goals
• Strong multi-project management skills; experienced in organizing, prioritizing, planning, and executing multiple projects
• Demonstrated ability to influence, educate and interact with diverse personalities teams across the organization
• Ability to build collaborative environments, teaming cultures, and customer service mindset
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
