About the Practice:
Our Capital Markets Technology Services practice is a global leader in helping clients improve their strategy and capacity for managing the risks associated with the global marketplace. The practice specializes in all areas of investment accounting and operations, trading, risk management and infrastructure across global broker/dealers , asset manager, hedge funds, fund administrators, investment banking, insurance, private equity, mutual fund and energy organizations. Our cross-functional team includes more than 700 practitioners who have served as C-Suite executives, technology managers, risk managers, traders, investment managers, compliance officers, credit managers, regulators, middle-office specialists, operations managers and technology specialists at top-tier industry and consulting organizations.
As a key member of the practice, you will leverage your financial services industry specialization by serving as a senior manager on client engagements and proposals. You will be involved in leading efforts to identify issues, develop strategy, conduct analysis and design technology, process and operations infrastructure including selecting appropriate systems and working with senior management to respond to industry developments and new products. You will also play a role in keeping the practice and clients informed about industry trends, new solutions and technology and their application to our client's issues.
Capital Market Technology Services ("CMTS") Core

Equally important are:

· Strong communication (both written and verbal), organization and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access and Project
· Aptitude for sales and marketing support to lead proposal efforts and secure business advisory and technology consulting engagements
Core Competencies:
· Broker dealer technology and/or operations management experience; specialization could include: financial advisory, tax accounting, prime broker or 'back office' operations experience
· A strong fundamental understanding of brokerage, tax lot accounting, client reporting for a broker dealer, separately managed accounts
· Familiarity with the trading, clearning, operations, documentation, settlement and reporting processes at a sell-side firm or bank
· Undergraduate degree in a Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or Liberal Arts discipline
· Strong communications capability and experience designing and developing presentations and proposals
· Consulting or technology solutions sales experience preferred
· Masters degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science preferred
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of industry, vendor or consulting experience in a broker/dealer, investment bank or prime brokerage firm, or other financial services organization with a clear record of expertise, accomplishment and impact. Candidate profile should include:
· Extensive knowledge of investment products, brokerage, managed account operations & processing. Working knowledge of stock record, stock loan, collateral management and industry regulations
· Familiarity with a project management framework
· Familiarity with systems such as: Thomson's Beta, Pershing, ADP and other broker/dealer processing systems
· General knowledge of the vendor and utilities landscape for the broker/dealer market
· Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients
· A proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of resources and complete projects on time and within budget
· A desire to continuously update skills and understanding of industry requirements and challenges and share that knowledge with both senior and junior colleagues
· The ability to support or lead the proposal development and presentation process
· PMP, CPA, CFA, or other similar certifications preferred (additional relevant certifications are encouraged)
