SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Position is responsible project management of design and implementation of Facilities construction and utility system installation for the establishment of an FDA regulated ISO certified medical device manufacturing site. Project will include plant and process utilities, building infrastructure upgrades, HVAC systems, permitting, cleanroom and support room construction, PM's, waste water treatment and compliance with building code, OSHA, Regulatory and environmental regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design and Construction Contractor selection, Statement of Work (SOW) definition and contracting.
· Oversee facilities and utilities system design. Coordinate team design reviews with internal and external resources.
· Oversee facilities and utilities system implementation. Coordinate team project reviews with internal and external resources.
· Interface with other team members including Process Engineers to define process utility requirements and implement production process utility systems.
· Assist Engineering Manager with overall project implementation.
· Implement and maintain cost, schedule and performance tracking and reporting system.
· Assist in the development of project justification and engineering proposals including providing input for capital planning process
· Ability to assist in planning and execution of mechanical and electrical Best Practice goals
· Provide technical direction to the other engineers in the design, evaluation and construction of capital projects impacting assigned systems
· Act as primary technical liaison with contractors
