AECOM has immediate full-time openings for a Project Control Specialist for our NEWARK, NJ satellite location to support Construction and Environmental Remediation projects. This position is mid-level which entails cost tracking, estimating, forecasting, logistics and procurement support. Projects are construction related and will generally involve environmental remediation or preservation.
Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills are a must with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Light travel may be required. Must have the ability to communicate, organize, and manage multiple estimates. Must be an organized, self-starter with a strong ability to communicate and have the ability to work individually or in teams. Experience for an environmental consulting firm or utility company a plus.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Cost estimating and tracking for construction and remediation projects
Contract administration and support
Logistics support and scheduling
Procurement and subcontract management Support
Project forecasting and reporting
Drug test, physical, and background check required. Other requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Business degree or Engineering degree from an accredited university or college. Possession of a legal/valid driver’s license is also a requirement.
