Overview
Assists in updating and maintaining all accounts from inception to completion. Works closely with buyers, networks and advertising agencies/clients to aid in the execution and maintenance of media placements.
Responsibilities
Assists with placement of media schedules for both Local and National campaigns by providing network traffic requirements to the client/agency through email or fax. Prior to airing an order, follows up with vendors via telephone or email to ensure all traffic materials have been issued to the vendor.
Arranges flowcharts/contracts from the vendors to ensure all inventory will air in accordance with the client's media specifications.
Enters schedules into both the Local and the National computer systems. Forwards schedule to client and distributes internal copies to appropriate staff.
Handles daily maintenance of designated accounts including vendor program changes, pre-emptions and weekly inventory moves.
Collects and verifies all pre and post logs.
Prepares and supports client requests for rating reports and competitive spending analysis.
Reconciles vendor invoices for designated accounts. Ensures all commercials have aired as originally scheduled. Ensures free air time (makegoods) are issued when commercials do not air correctly.
Provides buyer and client with updated schedules at the end of each billing cycle.
Documents final post analysis detailing overall media campaign, including total units aired and vendor delivery results utilizing spreadsheets and through vendor correspondence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and preferably up to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Harris and Mediabank (a plus); PowerPoint, Excel and Word (required).
