POSITION SUMMARY:
To ensure that Nestle Infant Nutrition products (specifically Good Start Infant Formula) followed company policy and strategy while remaining in compliance with all FDA and USDA regulations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
'X Provide to the leadership team Regulatory support for the Nestle Infant Formula business.
'X Partner cross functionally with Marketing and Product development to proactively identify and create opportunities for innovative product claims and positioning and influence the business strategy.
'X Ensure that products are in compliance with local regulations with respect to product labelling and design.
'X Ensure that all product claims and marketing materials are in compliance with local regulations and are appropriately substantiated and documented.
'X Ensure compliance of product ingredients, food additives, nutrition facts and claims.
'X Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance cross functionally to the business; specifically to product design and marketing for appropriate product claims and advertising.
'X Identify, assess and clearly communicate to the business any regulatory risks as well as recommended actions.
'X Participate in the regulatory process and strategically influence key regulations.
'X Manage FDA submissions for infant formula
'X Advise on product variances and compliance criteria.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Bachelor??s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry or related discipline.
Masters degree highly preferred.
Regulatory Affairs experience within the Infant Formula industry is a must
EXPERIENCE:
8 -10 years of experience with regulatory management- specifically with infant formula
