TKL Research is one of the oldest clinical research organizations in the United States, with over a half century of experience in conducting clinical trials. TKL has three operating divisions: a full-service Clinical Research Organization (CRO), five fully dedicated clinical sites in the metropolitan New York area, and a patient recruitment division.
We are seeking a highly motivated Proposals & Contracts Coordinator. This pro-active self starter will be responsible for overseeing the development of the RFP response for all CTD projects to ensure on-time delivery of the response to the client.
- Coordinate, develop and produce Request For Proposal (RFP) responses for multicenter trials
- Prepare the presentation for a formal bid defense to include but not be limited to: powerpoint presentation, proposal packets, support documentation.
- Follow-up with the client through the final outcome of the RFP response.
- Review and track contracts for all awarded trials.
- Maintain and manage shared drive for distribution of study critical documents.
- Prepare reports and projections via continual assessment of completed RFP outcomes.
- Incorporate information technology resources to achieve innovative solutions in the resolution of project and departmental issues.
- Assist with future business opportunities through client networking, representation at industry meeting and client presentation, staffing of exhibit at technical meetings and intelligence gathering on upcoming clinical programs.
- Present the RFP and program to the client at the bid defense.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years experience in writing proposals and driving study budgets in a CRO environment. Excellent written and verbal communications skill required, with strong presentations skills a plus.
4 year degree is required.
Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.
Proactive self starter who works independently to manage toward timelines and results. Collaborative work style as a team player who works cross functionally with multiple job levels and areas of expertise, able to prioritize multiple tasks and proactively meet deadlines.
