Job Description
Deloitte & Touche LLP's ("Deloitte & Touche's") Audit and Enterprise Risk Services (AERS) business has a risk-based approach, experienced professionals, comprehensive methodologies, and technical resources. Deloitte & Touche's services combine competency and experience in the areas of financial reporting, risk management, and compliance.
 
Business Risk
 
The Business Risk ("BR") service area is comprised of professionals that possess competency and experience in the areas of risk management, business and operational processes, internal auditing, financial reporting and other internal controls, and regulatory compliance.  Business risk professionals use these skills to assess, analyze, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of governance, financial and operational control processes,  offer recommendations to improve operations, and assist clients with enterprise risk and compliance activities.
 

    * 5+ years experience in at least two of the following areas
    * counterparty credit risk management expertise in major banking, or investment banking sectors
    * ERM and ORM framework design and implementation, Risk model development, benchmarking and assessment
    * Retail Consumer Credit
    * Credit File Review and ALLL
    * Basel II Operational Risk implementation
    * Integrated market, credit and operational risk management, measurement, and evaluation
    * Risk management and capital markets control environmental due diligence and assessment
    * MBA or Masters preferred
    * Flexible, dynamic work-style appropriate for the consulting areas of a large Big 4 Professional Services Organization
    * An ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally (60% for extended periods of time, with variability depending on the current consulting projects and pursuits. At other times there may be periods with little travel).
    * Possess an in-depth, hands-on working knowledge of major topics related to counterparty credit risk management industry leading practices.  
    * Ability and willingness to travel 75%

 Responsibilities include:

    * Provide engagement or task management and select appropriate methodologies
    * Play substantive/lead role in client relationship and communication
    * Play substantive/lead role in attaining quality internal and external communication deliverables including technical content of reports, proposals, etc.
    * Demonstrate high level of understanding of client's business
    * Demonstrate strong knowledge industry or functional specialty
    * Deliver services that meet Deloitte & Touche's engagement leader specifications
    *  Participate in professional & civic organizations
    * Produce material for internal publications
    * Participate in proposal development efforts
    * Evaluate, counsel, mentor, and provide feedback on performance of others
    * Assist in retention of professionals
    * Participate and assist in training efforts
    * Play substantive role in enhancing relationships with internal resources
