Summary Description
Responsible for the overall management and operation of the office of the Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel. Principal duties and responsibilities include performing administrative functions typically performed by Executive Assistants, responding to inquiries from the public, coordinating assignments of a sensitive nature, managing the Foundation-wide calendar, developing and monitoring the Office of the Executive Vice President’s cost budget, serving as the administrator of the delegations of authority, and serving as a resource and producing documents in connection with Board and Board Committee meetings.
Qualifications
Significant experience demonstrating maturity, organization and problem solving skills, independent judgment, ability to work well under pressure, attention to detail and discretion in confidential matters. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) and must be able to interact tactfully and effectively with foundation staff, grantees, trustees and others contacting the Foundation. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word and in utilizing on-line research tools. Ability to work overtime when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge of the Foundation’s resources and operations. Shorthand or speedwriting ability.
