KPMG’s Audit Committee Institute (ACI) was launched in 1999 by KPMG to communicate with corporate directors and senior officers through a variety of avenues including electronic and print publications, national roundtable events, and a Web site. ACI also supports KPMG audit engagement teams in their communication with audit committees and interacts with national groups addressing corporate governance issues.
Responsibilities:
• Guide the overall development and activities of KPMG’s Audit Committee Institute in an integrated fashion
• Direct programs and marketing campaigns that expand the reach of the Audit committee Institute
• Develop communications to enhance audit committees’ and senior managements’ awareness of key issues and provide thought leadership on effective audit committee processes
• Facilitate understanding of and responsiveness to audit committee issues by KPMG professionals
• Maintain day to day contact with external professional organizations
• Plan and implement an annual marketing program/strategy that has measurable impact, addresses current and emerging business issues, creates thought leadership within the marketplace and is aligned with overall firm strategy
• Drive the development of new thinking and new programs on emerging topics of importance to the firm, helping to ensure appropriate coordination between the relevant institutes, Audit, Tax and Advisory functions, and firm leadership
Qualifications:
• Fifteen years of progressively responsible marketing, communications, or business experience, including project management and people management experience
• Experience creating large-scale broad marketing programs, market analysis and development of marketing plans, business-to-business marketing and relationship based marketing
• Ability to successfully interact with various levels of management including Firm Leadership, Vice-Chairs, and Senior Partners
• Experience in a financial services or a professional services organization
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited college or university
