Collections Accountant Major
Salary Commensurate with Experience

Barnes & Noble College Booksellers, is searching for an Accountant that will be responsible for analysis and follow up on outstanding amounts due Barnes & Noble from our stores that have converted to PeopleSoft. In addition, you will be required to prepare and analyze the status of collections, aging reports as well as DSO's review. You will assist in the processing of the daily deposits to our banking institutions and also into PeopleSoft, applying payments in PeopleSoft. You will be required to collect on all accounts you are responsible for while building and maintaining strong relationships with the Major Universities, stores, field management team and the complexities that it encompasses.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Preferred. 6 months to two years of accounting and reconciliation experience required.   Must have strong MSExcel skills. Strong analytical aptitude is necessary. Some collections and PeopleSoft experience is a plus.
