Our client a Global Insurance Company located on the Westchester / Greenwich border has a newly created Treasury position.
Major Job Responsibilities/Results
Oversee accounts payable function,
Improve processes and controls
Review bank services fees, analyze variances and allocate expense to legal entities
Assist with departmental SOX 404 compliance requirements
Activities involved with management corporate cash position
Including, but not limited to: daily liquidity, cash accounting, funds concentration, reconciliation, report distribution and short-term investment decisions
Establishing and projecting weekly cash position to fund disbursements and Investment Manager allocations
Monthly direct cash flow reports for distribution to senior executives
Credit evaluation
Process letters of credit and maintain collateral requirements
Analyze requests for credit from policyholders, producers and vendors
Act as liaison between bank service providers and business unit personnel on all aspects of banking service issues, transactions, documentation and online administration of web based products
Administration of purchase card program
Budget and forecast the balance sheet and cash flow activities of three companies by analyzing the financial statements of the companies, in particular, the Profit & Loss Statements, the Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows. Cooperate with other members of the FP&A team in the preparation of forecasts. This involves redesign of existing and development of new forms of reporting, which identifies trends, or provides details, that will assist management in determining the accuracy of forecasts.
